Privacy Policy

How ClubRaha collects, uses and protects personal data.

Effective 21 October 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how ClubRaha ("we") handles personal data of visitors, account holders and advertisers. We aim to process personal data in line with applicable data protection law, including the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number and password (stored hashed).
  • Listing data that advertisers choose to publish: photos, date of birth or age, gender, nationality, location, rates, services and description.
  • Payment records: package, amount, status and the reference from our payment provider. We do not store card or mobile-money credentials.
  • Technical data: cookies, device and browser information and basic logs needed to run and secure the site.

3. How we use it

  • to provide accounts and publish listings at the advertiser's request;
  • to process listing payments and send account and subscription notices, such as expiry reminders;
  • to keep the Platform secure and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Public information

Everything an advertiser includes in a listing, including photos and phone number, is public and can be viewed, copied or saved by anyone. Only publish what you are comfortable making public. We are not responsible for how third parties use publicly visible information.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Platform (such as hosting, storage, email and payment providers), under appropriate safeguards, and where required by law or to protect someone from serious harm.

6. Retention

We keep data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting and security purposes. You can delete your account at any time from your settings, which removes your listing from public view.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to certain processing, by contacting support@example.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, but no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
